Building open technology for communities, powered by displaced technologists
Who we are
We are a not-for-profit digital studio with a mission to connect social justice with technology. Our team is powered by displaced technologists, especially Palestinians, who bring their skills and lived experiences to design and build technology that aligns with the values of the organisations we serve.
We believe technology can and should be a tool for justice, resilience, and community empowerment.

Why It Matters
Many organisations are searching for affordable, ethical tech solutions that allow them to maximise their impact and create lasting change. At the same time, displaced technologists are seeking fair employment opportunities where their work reflects their values and stories. We bring these needs together.
We create stable, fairly paid work for technologists living under blockade, occupation, or exile, while supporting them to upskill and contribute to meaningful projects.

We not only provide nonprofits with modern, reusable, open-source tools at little to no cost, we also act as their thinking partner. We help organsiations open doors to innovation and solutions that allow them to focus their energy on what leads to long-term sustainability.

We build platforms that preserve lived experiences and amplify underrepresented voices, ensuring that stories of resilience and resistance are not lost. At the same time, we connect these narratives to organisations that support similar causes, helping them stand in solidarity and extend their impact to individuals with shared experiences.

Our Projects
To achieve our mission, we have focused on building tech solutions where we combine our digital expertise with partners to deliver them.

Gaza Living Story
A map-based, participatory archive and dreaming tool for Palestinians to shape the restoration of Gaza.
After years of devastation and displacement in Gaza, lives and homes must be rebuilt in ways that honor the wishes of survivors. Gaza Living Story gives Palestinians the tools to document what was, observe what is, and co-create what could be.
This project preserves cultural and personal memory across generations, while opening space to imagine a future rooted in justice, dignity, and continuity.
How we work
We follow a human-centered design approach, placing people at the heart of everything we build. Every digital product should start and continue with the users in mind. We design intuitive, inclusive digital experiences that respond to real needs. Each project begins by understanding the people who will use a website, platform, or application—their motivations, challenges, and decision-making patterns—and using those insights to guide every design choice. Our process combines research, collaboration, and testing to ensure the final product works for the people who matter most.

At the same time, every project is an opportunity for displaced technologists to grow and upskill. Our team brings more than 10 years of experience across diverse technologies, from web and mobile development to AI, automation, and other advanced tools. By working on meaningful projects, displaced technologists gain fair employment while building new expertise, creating a cycle of empowerment and innovation that benefits both our partners and our people.
